As part of our Sunday service every Sunday we offer groups for children of all ages, including a creche for babies and toddlers under 3, a group for 4 to 7 year olds, and a third for 8 to 12 year olds.
We want our St Alban’s Kids to know church as a place where they have lots of fun, where we can engage them in early teaching and worship, and as a safe, enjoyable environment to form friendships with each other and a relationship with God.

“I like coming on a Thursday, it’s fun and means I’m not just out on the street” – Dan 12yrs.
We offer youth mentoring sessions, in groups or individually, with a small number of young people.
Typically, a mentoring session will provide an hour per week for a young person to meet with their mentor to discuss life, identity, and whatever issues they want to talk through.
Trips and Activities
Why stay indoors when there’s so much to explore out there?
Our team of volunteers regularly take trips to all kinds of places to push our young
people to try something new – here we are climbing!
This term we’ve got a graffiti workshops and Scavenger Hunt challenge, find out more details here.
We know kids spend almost a third of their week in school. We also know teachers are often faced with the challenge of wanting to support kids they work with pastorally but often don’t have enough hours to.
We support 3 schools across Hammersmith and Fulham, providing, mentoring, playground support, Assemblies, RE lessons, running an Alpha Course and Romance Academy Sessions.
“Thank you so much for the way you ran Romance Academy at Lady Margret’s School, You were really prepared each week, and ran the session with such wisdom and sensitivity. Thanks so much for devoting your time and energy to help me in my ministry, such an encouragement”- Lady Margaret’s Chaplain.
At St Alban’s Fulham, we also want to give opportunities for young people to explore their own personal spirituality and have an opportunity encounter God in worship, discussion and prayer.
Young peopele are welcome to join in our 11am, and 6pm Services.
We also have a week away at Soul Survivor and evenings at Youth event Ignite are great opportunities to grow in faith and discover more.
All our volunteers hold a current DBS and have opportunities to receive youth and children’s work training, safeguarding training and first aid training. If you’d like to get involved please contact Becca@stalbansfulham.org
“The kids work has been brilliant this past year, so glad I came on to do it” – Marjay, 21
While all of this work is so exciting, it is made possible by people giving financially to make it happen. That money comes from a variety of sources from grant making trusts to individual donors. We are very good at making the money we receive go a long way!
